A look at the projects we’ve crafted with teams around the world, each shaped by clarity and collaboration.

A brief look at recent projects I've worked on and teams I've been part of.

Dairy Drop

The goal of this project was to design a streamlined and intuitive subscription-based grocery app for customers of DairyDrop (a fictional dairy delivery start-up). Using the double-diamond framework, our tasks were to discover insights into user pain points, define our focus area to address our client's key concerns, develop an appropriate solution and refine through prototypes and testing.

Williams Sonoma Holiday Campaign
Williams Sonoma

The aim of this project was to craft a proposal for a marketing campaign that would address an existing problem for our brand. This required us to identify the brand's current niche, and how it no longer aligned with with their target audience. Once we understood this gap, we then put together a narrative-based campaign aimed to bring brand perception back in line and improve relevance for potential customers.

For Williams Sonoma, we created this 70th anniversary holiday season campaign - an ambitious year-long project that would culminate in a fall/winter rollout to refresh brand awareness just in time for the busy hosting season.

Photo Series: Mech Keys

This project was about creating and presenting a photography series for a subject of our choice. As a hobbyist in the mechanical keyboard space, I wanted to put together a series that showed the meticulous process of assembling a keyboard - a tool that we interact with daily and has become an avenue of self-expression through customization and design.

Stager Day vs. Night

For our first major foray into 3D work, our task was to conceptualize and create a scene that would express two different moods by altering the lighting conditions. The goal of this project was to push our understanding of materials and light, and leverage both in order to bring a realistic scene to life.

Water Wise
Water Wise

Water Wise is a concept for a behavioural mobile app to increase student awareness about lack of access to clean water in Canadian indigenous communities. This project challenged us to focus on behavioural loops, user motivations, and heuristics, culminating in a digital experience tailored for a school-aged audience.

How the World Works

For this project, we were asked to create a short animation based on a sound clip of our choosing. I worked with an excerpt from Bo Burnham's "How the World Works". Through project planning, storyboarding, rough cut, and refining the final animatic, we gained a better understanding of the motion design production process.

Reframe

This project was a self-directed end-to-end UX design sprint. I chose to focus on access to (and engagement with) art as a medium, where despite its flexibility as a form, has traditionally been perceived as a relatively inaccessible, "high culture" activity. A wide body of interdisciplinary research supports a strong correlation between participation in the arts and wider voluntary civic engagement: simply put, art reaches individuals in a way that statistics and headlines cannot, and can emotionally resonate with us in a way that moves people from passive sympathy to active support. By identifying specific gaps that undermine the appeal of "art" for many, I believe that we have an opportunity to redefine the space that art occupies in our collective minds and encourage individuals to develop the social confidence required for us to take on more active roles within our communities.

This project was about creating a digital solution for students and new graduates who struggle with money management and meeting financial goals. We wanted to tackle the issue of financial literacy in an approachable, low-pressure way that felt more personable than the traditional methods (such as budgeting and online banking or investment apps).

This project was about creating a brand and digital presence that that was quiet but assertive, sophisticated but also authentic, and down-to-earth while still aspirational.

lullaby

In this project, I conceptualize a multisensory solution for users who experience dysregulated sleep. The aim was to design an immersive experience that would engage users not just visually, but also account for their senses of smell, hearing, touch, space, and more.
